We had our 2nd track day at the local sheriff's dept training facility this past sunday. Decent turnout, 18-20 cars, everyone got the opportunity for ~45 minutes of good seat time. I went out for a run early in the morning and during the final group of the day. No other shots of Z's because the cameraman was a 350Z driver and was on the track with the rest of the Z's. Despite the afternoon heat, everyone had fun until we called it a day at 2pm.

Now one question I'd like some input on. I am literally on the fence between SPL's entry level coilovers and the Tein SS coilovers. The reason being price, as much as I would prefer to buy the SPL set and support a dedicated Z vendor, for approx the same price I can get the Tein SS with the EDFC, which IMO is a very nice feature to have. Is there anything else about the SPL's or Tein's that I am not taking into account? I cannot seem to find very detailed info about the Tein SS. So I can't determine whether the spring preload and shock travel length are independently adjustable, other than that, plus they lack an upper aluminum pillowball mount (does this even matter to me?), they seem to be more or less the same. What else do I need to consider as far as TANGIBLES are concerned? I already have AUCA's, ASTR's, and a full ES kit install will coincide the coilovers'. My OEM shocks are toast on these Eibach springs, which need to go bye bye as well.
